✨ Proud to officially join the board of @KultivateLabs! I'm beyond excited to contribute to the incredible work of empowering our community through creativity, entrepreneurship, and culture. I’m honored to help grow this amazing organization and its incredible programs that uplift our community through creativity and culture. 🌟
🎨 Balay Kreative: Empowering Filipino artists and creatives by providing spaces and resources to thrive and share their work.
🎉 UNDSCVRD SF: A festival and marketplace that celebrates our community’s vibrant culture, spotlighting Filipino entrepreneurs and artists in SOMA Pilipinas.
🌿 Kapwa Gardens: A healing urban oasis where community, wellness, and creativity meet, providing a sanctuary in the heart of the city.
📚 Brownthought Academy: A platform for young leaders, offering mentorship and opportunities to develop their entrepreneurial and creative skills.
🤝 SEED Network: A business accelerator supporting BIPOC creatives and entrepreneurs in the SF Bay Area and SOMA Pilipinas Filipino Cultural District. SEED offers grants, coaching, and consulting services to help scale businesses and foster generational wealth.
🎤 Republika SF: This dynamic space will serve as the canvas for a new wave of entrepreneurs as they define the future of Filipino-American culture. We envision incubating a batch of innovative retail concepts, award-winning restaurants, and neighborhood serving businesses that are culturally relevant, financially resilient, and adaptable to the market needs of all San Franciscans.
I’m excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to contribute to these transformative programs! Let’s keep building! 🙌💡

Why This Matters
Kultivate Labs isn’t just an organization; it’s a movement. It’s a catalyst for the small businesses, artists, and communities that define the soul of our Filipino Cultural District in San Francisco. Without our programs, we risk losing more than just events or spaces; we risk losing the cultural heartbeat of our city.
Over the years, Kultivate Labs has transformed SOMA Pilipinas into a vibrant hub of Filipino culture and innovation, creating spaces like Kapwa Gardens and spearheading programs that uplift small businesses, artists, and community leaders. Through Balay Kreative, we’ve provided invaluable support to Filipino creatives, empowering them with resources, mentorship, and opportunities to showcase their talents. Our SEED Network has been a lifeline for small businesses, helping entrepreneurs navigate challenges and thrive in a competitive landscape in going from pop-up to permanent, brick-and-mortar businesses. Together with initiatives like UNDSCVRD SF, we’ve turned overlooked areas into thriving cultural corridors that celebrate our heritage while strengthening the local economy.
This is about more than preserving what we’ve built—it’s about safeguarding a vision for a future where culture, creativity, and community thrive in Downtown San Francisco.
