Our Fiscally Sponsored Organizations

Kultivate Labs proudly partners with organizations that share our vision of empowering communities through creativity, innovation, and culture. While rooted in San Francisco and the Filipino community, our impact extends far beyond these boundaries, supporting a diverse array of initiatives that amplify voices and uplift underrepresented groups.

  • Brave New Spaces

Brave New Spaces is a nonprofit workforce development and arts & culture organization dedicated to diversifying the events & hospitality industry and disrupting the status quo.

  • KOHO SF | Japantown

Before World War II, San Francisco’s Japantown stretched across 40 blocks. Today, just nine remain. In one of them, KOHO Creative Hub, the neighborhood’s first co-working space, is planting new roots through desks, dialogue, and a return to cultural belonging.

KOHO now hosts creators, pop-ups, and community events that use the space to remember, reconnect, and rebuild in the Japan Center East on Post Street.

Amidst mounting economic pressures and city budget cuts, KOHO describes itself as the “first-ever creative coworking and event space” aimed at preserving cultural identity. It uses a community-based model where memberships are regranted to fund local artists and initiatives in Japantown.

  • Emerging Tech Coalition

At the Emerging Tech Coalition (ETC), our mission is simple: make advanced technology accessible to everyone.

We’re based in San Francisco, the heart of AI and tech, but here’s the problem: only the developers and big companies are really using these tools. How can we call ourselves the center of innovation when so many people and communities are left out? That’s why we exist—to make sure everyone gets a chance to use the tech that’s transforming the world.

ETC stands for Emerging Tech Coalition, but it also stands for “et cetera,” meaning “and the rest.” That’s what we’re about: tech for the rest of us. From AI to robotics, mixed reality to biotech, we want to make sure that emerging technologies aren’t just for the few—they’re for anyone who wants to learn, adapt, and use them.

We help people get access to these tools, gain knowledge quickly, and apply them in ways that make sense for their lives and businesses. Our focus is on making this process fast, easy, affordable, and accessible to everyone—not just the experts.
